IAF holds session for Rayat Bahra students

The programme was conducted by the Directorate of Induction and Selection in Holistic Approach (DISHA) to provide students with detailed insights into the recruitment process, career opportunities and guidance for becoming an officer in the Indian Air Force.
The session began with acting vice-chancellor Dr Chander Mohan welcoming the dignitaries. Wing Commander Anshuman Samajpati explained the role of officers, training process and career development opportunities in the Indian Air Force.
Squadron Leader Chakravarti Lakhawat highlighted the structure and functioning of various IAF departments. Flight Lieutenant Nikhil Pathar discussed career paths in technical and administrative fields, while Flying Officer Harsh Sharma emphasised the importance of physical and mental preparation for aspiring officers.
The students were given comprehensive information on the recruitment process, selection criteria, examinations, interviews and medical tests. The session aimed to inspire and guide students toward a career in the Indian Air Force. Additionally, Air Force officials conducted a bus exhibition, showcasing aircraft and providing technical details to students.
The event concluded with Director Administration of the university, Kuldeep Rana, thanking all the officers. Department in-charges of the university and students actively participated in the session, making it an engaging and informative experience.
