The IMA-Jalandhar was honored with the Best Big Branch of Punjab 2024 award at the 77th annual PIMACON conference, organised by the IMA-Ludhiana at IMA House on February 15-16. The award was presented by Health Minister Balbir Singh and was received by IMA-Jalandhar president Dr Deepak Chawla and secretary Dr Archana Dutta.

The two-day event commenced with the State Council meeting on February 15 where Dr Sunil Katyal, the 2024 state president, handed over the baton to the 2025 president Dr Vikas Chhabra of Bathinda.

The meeting saw a large gathering of past presidents from IMA-Jalandhar, including Dr Yogeshwar Sood, Dr Rakesh Vig, Dr BS Johal, Dr Ravinder Bal, Dr Navjot Dahiya, PMC vice-president Dr Jasmine Dahiya, Dr Paramjeet Mann, Dr JP Singh and Dr Gurpreet Kaur.

IMA 2025 president Dr MS Bhutani and secretary Dr Puja Kapoor also attended the event, presenting a bouquet to Dr Vikas Chhabra and extending their best wishes for his tenure.
