Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bio-Energy (SSS-NIBE), Kapurthala, is organising a five-day national hands-on training programme on ‘Biogas technology and its implementation.’ The event was inaugurated by Dr G Sridhar, Director General, SSS-NIBE, and Indian Biogas Association president, Dr Shukla. Dr Sridhar welcomed the guests and stated that the training programme is being organised with the cooperation of the Indian Biogas Association.

It will include lectures by experts on all aspects related to biogas technology for all participants, along with field visits. He shed light on the role of biogas in the Indian renewable energy scenario with specific focus on its application.
