Jalandhar, August 2
Naveen Singla, who was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, in 2014, will be the DIG, Jalandhar zone. He will replace Harmanbir Gill, who has been shifted as the Joint Director of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Police Academy in Phillaur.

Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh

PPS officer Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, who was posted as AIG, Anti-Gangster Task Force, Jalandhar, will now serve as SSP, Jalandhar Rural.
He was involved in breaking the nexus of various gangs operating in the state. He will take charge from incumbent Ankur Gupta tomorrow. Gupta will be the new SSP, Moga.
Daljinder S Dhillon, who was posted as AIG of the CID, Jalandhar, has now moved out as SSP, Pathankot. The post remains to be filled. — TNS
