Considered an all rounder, Krish has displayed his prowess both as a batsman and as a bowler in recent tournaments. Krish secured 520 runs in the Cooch Bihar trophy, took 30 wickets in the Colonel CK Naidu trophy and bagged 170 runs against the Ranji team of Bengal. The PCA said a Ranji Trophy match of Punjab’s team Kerela would be held on October 11. Krish will be reporting to senior men’s team coach Wasim Jafar in Patiala on October 7.

Krish is the nephew of Jalandhar West MLA Mohinder Bhagat. While politics runs in the family, his cousin Chandan Bhagat said Krish had been a dedicated sportsperson since childhood. Chandan said, "He played cricket at various stages and has been dedicated to the game, come what may."
