Aam Aadmi Party’s state in-charge and MLA from Tilak Nagar (Delhi) Jarnail Singh today made a visit to the Bein river along with MP Balbir Singh Seechewal. The purpose of the visit was to witness the ongoing efforts to clean and restore this historically and religiously significant river.

The river holds a special place in the hearts of many, as it is believed that Guru Nanak Dev visited this river during his lifetime. Recognising its significance, Balbir Singh Seechewal has been at the forefront of the cleaning drive to preserve and revive the river.

MLA Singh thanked MP Seechewal for his dedication to the cause. He emphasised the ecological and spiritual significance of the river, highlighting how its restoration is in line with the values of cleanliness and purity advocated by Guru Nanak Dev.

“The efforts of Balbir Singh Seechewal and his team are truly commendable. Their hard work and commitment towards cleaning the Bein river not only honours our religious heritage but also contributes significantly towards preserving the environment,” Jarnail Singh said.
