In a major push towards the employment to the youth, Kapurthala Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal gave appointment letters to 37 revenue patwaris at the District Administrative Complex here today.

While wishing them a good future, the Deputy Commissioner asked them to work with zeal and dedication to ensure the service delivery to common man in a more transparent and easy manner. The patwari’s job is a backbone of revenue administration and you all must provide the services to the masses in a free and fair manner, Sarangal said.

The Deputy Commissioner said the selected patwaris would get a one-year training at the State Patwar School in Jalandhar.

He asked them to get training in a spirited manner to bring the much desired positive change in the system. Prominent amongst present on the occasion included DRO Major GP singh Benipal, Suprintendent Satbir Singh and Kanugo Gursharan Singh.
