Further allocations include Rs 7.51 lakh for classroom construction and Rs 4.50 lakh for a boundary wall.

Meanwhile, Dhaliwal Bet is scheduled to get a nod for a new boundary wall and Government Primary School, Ibrahimwal, will get an additional classroom built at a cost of Rs 7.51 lakh.

The “Punjab Shiksha Kranti” campaign is a comprehensive state-led effort to uplift the standards of education through infrastructure modernisation, digital readiness and inclusive learning spaces.

DC Panchal said, “This is not just about a physical transformation, it’s about creating environment where students can thrive and teachers can deliver quality education with pride.”

The authorities have assured stringent oversight of all civil works to ensure quality and timely execution. The schools are expected to be ready with upgraded facilities before the upcoming academic session.
