Khel Udyog Sangh observes 2-hour silent protest
A silent protest was organised for two hours from 4 pm to 6 pm today under the leadership of Khel Udyog Sangh Punjab convener Vijay Dhir. The protest was held to condemn the attack in Pahalgam in which innocent unarmed tourists who had gone to Kashmir with their families were shot by militants.
Ravinder Dhir, an industrialist, said the barbaric act committed by separatists in Jammu & Kashmir will not be able to stop the progress in the state. “Our protest today is a tribute to the innocent citizens. We pray for the peace of those departed souls and pledge no terrorist force that hinders the development of the country will be tolerated. We will support our government in ending terrorist activities and remain dedicated to service,” the members said.

run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any
bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and
partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense
of the term.
