Showing a rare gesture, the family members of a brain dead patient in Jalandhar have offered to donate both his kidneys to a patient at Shrimann Hospital, a private medical institution here.

Baldev Singh (70) of Kamalpur village in Shahkot was recently hit by a two-wheeler and sustained head injuries. He was admitted to the Shrimann Hospital, where the doctors had declared him brain dead.
