Langar sewa organised to commemorate Shaheedi Diwas

City-based NGO, EduYouth Foundation, organised a langar sewa outside PIMS Hospital on Garha Road from December 26-28 to mark Shaheedi Diwas in remembrance of Mata Gujri, Chaar Sahibzaade and Shaheed Singhs.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Kanwar Sartaj Singh, president of the foundation, said, “We began this langar sewa four years ago during these dates and are committed to continuing it in the years ahead. Our society must follow in the footsteps of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the fight against injustice and oppression. We urge the youth to come forward in large numbers and contribute to serving society.”

The foundation also appealed to the public to join hands for the betterment of the community. Several members of the team, including Harsimran Tiwana, Kanwar Abhijay Singh, Maninder Singh, Chirag Sharma, Lovelesh Sahota, Sunny Lally, Sanveer Judge, Prabhdeep Dhillon, Gurinder Singh, Sanjivan Singh, Gursimrat Bal, Jagdeep Singh among others.
