Phagwara, September 1

A shop was reportedly burgled in village Rihana near Phagwara last night. Shop owner Narinder Kumar said burglars entered the shop after cutting the shutters and took away one LED, two CCTV cameras along with DVR and some cash. The police have registered a case.

In the second incident, thieves stole a laptop from the room of LPU student Mohammad Rijaan in Adarsh Nagar last night. Similarly thieves stole another laptop from the room of Raj Kumar the same night.

Driver Mohammad Nayeem told the police that he was bringing ghee from Delhi to Punjab in his truck and stopped before a dhaba at Jamalpur, but found 25 boxes of ghee stolen he when came out of it.
