Former Cabinet Minister and senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia claimed Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s position is under threat, predicting his removal due to problems of debt, corruption and anarchy in the state. Majithia likened Mann’s situation to that of Haryana’s Chief Minister Khattar, who was replaced by Saini. He also alleged Mann misbehaved with senior officials during a recent stay at a forest rest house, resulting in the transfer of Hoshiarpur’s SSP. Regarding the life imprisonment of Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, Majithia criticised the Gandhi family for their support of such leaders.
