Man arrested with heroin, tablets, drug money

He was arrested with intoxicants, including heroin and over Rs 21,000 drug money.
The accused was nabbed by the Mehatpur police.
Under Onkar Singh Brar, DSP, Shahkot, a team of the Mehatpur police station, including SHO Mehatpur Inspector Balbir Singh and SI Kashmir Singh held a CASO in Mehatpur.
A man was arrested and heroin and intoxicant tablets were recovered from him.
Identified as Jaspal Singh, alias Jassi, resident of village Boote Dian Channan village in Jalandhar, the accused was arrested with 20 intoxicant tablets, 3 gm heroin and Rs 21,500 drug money.
The police said he was involved in the supply of drugs.
A case was registered against him under Sections 21(A), 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Mehatpur police station on July 23 against Jaspal Singh.
