The Jalandhar Commissionerate Police, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma, arrested a suspect and recovered four stolen motorcycles from his possession.

Acting on a tip-off about a gang involved in motorcycle thefts across the city, the police apprehended Hardeep Singh, also known as Deepa, a resident of village Mudha under the Nakodar police jurisdiction. During the operation, officers recovered a stolen Hero Splendor motorcycle from his possession.

An FIR was registered against him under Section 303(2) of the BNS Act at Police Station New Baradari, Commissionerate Jalandhar.

During questioning, Hardeep Singh confessed to stealing more motorcycles. Acting on his confession, the police recovered three more stolen motorcycles from various locations.

Commissioner Sharma stated that further investigations in the case were ongoing and that more details regarding the thefts and potential accomplices would be shared as the inquiry progressed.
