During the meeting, Dr Singh highlighted the life, sacrifice, and universal message of humanity given by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, describing the upcoming events as a global message of peace and religious harmony. He said under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the state government is making all efforts to make the occasion memorable and historic.
Dr Singh also briefed the Meghalaya CM about the detailed programme, including cultural performances, religious congregations, and social gatherings planned for the event.
Sangma accepted the invitation and appreciated the government’s initiative, calling it a noble step towards strengthening national unity and brotherhood.
Dr Singh described the meeting as a gesture of spiritual harmony and national integration, reinforcing inter-state respect and cultural bonding across India.
