The minister emphasised timely execution and high-quality standard of 755 sanctioned projects across the nine assembly constituencies in the district. He revealed that the government has already released the first installment of Rs 22.50 crore, with the remaining funds to be disbursed shortly. These projects, he added, will provide a significant push to infrastructure and civic amenities in the region.

Interacting with the media, Khudian affirmed that the Punjab government has made adequate arrangements to deal with any flood-like situation. He said the government was monitoring the rising water level in dams and river catchment areas.

Earlier, the district administration welcomed the minister with a bouquet upon his arrival. Deputy Commissioner Dr Himanshu Aggarwal assured the minister of timely completion of development projects initiated under Rangla Punjab Vikas Scheme.
