Phagwara: On a complaint lodged by a West Bengal native, but presently residing at Panchhat village, the police have registered a case under Sections 363 and 365 of the IPC against a Bihari migrant Billu and his unknown accomplice woman on the charge of abducting the minor daughter of the complainant. The girl is missing since Monday. No arrest has been made so far. OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
