The police have registered a case against a 15-year-old minor accused for allegedly sodomising a 5-year-old migrant boy late this evening. The victim is undergoing treatment at the Dasuya Civil Hospital.

The accused fled after the incident, but was later taken into custody by the police and presented before the Juvenile Justice Board. The victim's mother stated that the accused was living in the same house they were living in and worked as a juice vendor.

Dr Gurpreet Singh, posted at the Civil Hospital, stated that samples from the victim's body have been taken and sent for testing. Any results will be reported to the police.

Investigating officer Anil Kumar stated that statements from the victim's child and family members were being recorded based on the information.
