MLA Jimpa directs officials to address residents’ grievances in Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur MLA and chairman of Punjab Assembly’s Petition Committee Bram Shankar Jimpa organised a public hearing at his office on Wednesday. He heard the grievances of locals and directed the officials of the departments concerned to take immediate action.

A large number of people reached the public hearing and put forth their problems related to electricity, water, road, health, revenue and other departments before him. MLA Jimpa listened to everyone and assured that no legitimate problem of the public would go unheard. He said he was always available for the convenience of the public and negligence of any department would not be tolerated.

He gave clear instructions to the officials that the problems of the people should be resolved within the stipulated time frame. Jimpa said only transparent and accountable administration strengthened the trust of the public. He also said the Punjab Government was continuously running schemes for the welfare of the common man and that it was their responsibility to provide the benefits to every needy person.

He said people would be given complete information about government schemes and facilities so that no eligible person was deprived of the benefits. He also assured to monitor regularly to solve public problems.

MLA Jimpa said the betterment and development of the area was the goal of his life and he would continue to serve the public with honesty.
