The new feeder has been launched specifically to underload the existing Jahan Khelan Kandi AP feeder, aiming to enhance voltage quality and significantly reduce the frequency of power tripping.

The initiative is expected to directly benefit around 15 villages, including Allahabad, Jahan Khelan, Dallewal, Daroli, Patiarian, Dada Mada, Mahilanwali, Ali Di Basi, Basi Mustafa, Kharkan, Chakk Sadhu, Uparliyan Kharkan, and Chakk Haroli. By reducing the load on the Jahan Khelan feeder, the new Patiarian feeder will bring greater stability in power supply, especially to agricultural consumers relying on electricity for tubewell irrigation.

While inaugurating the feeder, MLA Jimpa highlighted the importance of this technical intervention in improving the region’s agricultural infrastructure. He said, “This initiative will benefit thousands of consumers, particularly farmers, by ensuring a more stable and reliable power supply.”

The move is part of ongoing efforts to modernise and strengthen rural power distribution systems, ensuring timely and adequate electricity for key sectors like agriculture.
