Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party, has welcomed the Punjab Government’s newly launched Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana, calling it a revolutionary step towards public welfare. Under the scheme, every family in Punjab will be entitled to free medical treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh per year. The initiative is expected to provide major financial relief, especially to economically weaker and middle-class families.

Dr Chabbewal described the scheme as transparent and technologically sound, stating that it would elevate the state’s healthcare services to new heights. He also appreciated the efforts to include both government and private hospitals in the scheme, ensuring maximum people get access to quality healthcare.

The MP said that strong coordination between elected representatives and the Health Department will help extend the benefits of the scheme to even the remotest villages.
