A student of Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology died by suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his hostel room on Friday.

Victim Vishesh was B.Tech (computer science) second semester student from Allahabad, UP. He left behind a suicide note in which he just wrote, "Sorry Mummy, Papa. I am upset". SHO Maqsudan police station Bikram Singh reached the spot and started investigation.

His friends said that he was not taking their calls. So they went to his room and saw him hanging from the fan from an open window. They immediately raised an alarm and called up the college authorities.

SHO Maqsudan said that the family arrived on Saturday. They got the post-mortem of the victim done and took his body home for performing the last rites. The family has not got lodged any complaint or levelled any accusation against anyone.
