Jalandhar: An NRI lost $ 920 while heading from Delhi airport to Jalandhar. The vicitm, Paramjit Kaur, alleged that foreign currency was stolen from her bag. The matter came to light on Tuesday evening after the vicitm informed the bus operators at their city-based office.

The victim asked the bus operators to check CCTV footage of the bus, however, due to lack of cameras, nothing could be done. She informed that money was there in her bag till Rajpura and she did not check her bag after that.

Chaos were witnessed at the Indo-Canadian office after the vicitm and the bus staff accused fellow passengers of stealing her money. The Indo-Canadian management said CCTV camreas were removed recently to install new ones. TNS
