The police today arrested a man accused of murdering Badhshahpur resident Harpreet Singh on September 17. Dilbagh Singh was one of the accused who murdered Harpreet Singh on September 17.

Baldish Kaur, the daughter of the deceased Harpreet, had complained to the police that her father had gone to a street around 8 pm on September 17. When he returned at 10.30 pm, he was bleeding profusely.

She alleged that her father told his family members that Dilbagh, Gurjit and Tejpal Singh of Badhshahpur had beat him up at village Sath.

All three of them had sticks and wooden bars. They had injured his head and limbs with weapons. He died in the morning.
