Makhan Singh's elder brother Sita Ram told the Garhshankar police that Makhan and he were going to our village from Garhshankar around 10 o'clock on our motorcycles. Near Kukd Mazra village, a pickup vehicle coming from the front hit Makhan's motorcycle and the pickup van ran over my brother. Makhan was seriously injured and was taken to a Health Centre at Sadoa where doctors declared him dead.

Based on the statements, the police has arrested Rahim Ali of Champal, district Doda, Jammu & Kashmir, now the resident of Chabbewal, Hoshiarpur, and registered a case against him.
