Property worth Rs 22.41 lakh belonging to a drug smuggler was seized in Kapurthala.

Movable and immovable property of a drug smuggler was seized by the Kapurthala police under an ongoing special drive. SSP Gaurav Toora said during a press meet that in November 2024, the property of smuggler Kaushal, alias Dilli Wali, resident of Uccha Taura, Kapurthala, was seized by the police.

The drug smuggler had been booked on November 22, 2013, under Sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at the Kapurthala City police station.

Under the case, a house worth Rs 17,76,600, a car worth Rs 4,65,000 - was sealed by the police. The property was seized under Section 68 F of the NDPS Act.
