Her funeral, held at the crematorium on Banga Road in Phagwara, was attended by hundreds of people, including representatives from political, social, and religious organizations — reflecting the widespread respect she commanded.

A prayer meeting has been scheduled for August 31. She is survived by her husband, Dr S. Mahindra, along with two sons and a daughter — all doctors — who continue the family’s legacy of service in the medical profession.
