Protest over GST raids
A huge drama was witnessed today at Basti Nau when traders along with BJP workers protested against inspections being carried out by the GST Department.
Ravinder Dhir, an industrialists, said raids were being conducted to ruin business of traders in the festive season. Earlier too, some traders, under the banner of the Khel Udyog Sangh, had protested to reiterate their demand for ending GST raids.
“We are being harassed. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal had promised to end ‘inspector-raj’ if his party was voted to power in the state. AAP is now ruling the state. Instead of ending the ‘inspector raj’, the government has worsened the condition of traders and industrialists,” rued Dhir.
