As many as 20 people were injured in a road accident near Kamal village under Dharamkot police station in Moga district of Punjab.

The government bus of Jalandhar depot of the Punjab Roadways was going to Dharamkot when it suddenly crossed the divider from the main road and collided with a goods vehicle.

The bus then overturned and went off the road.

After the incident, the driver and conductor of the bus fled the spot.

Eyewitnesses said that the condition of Balwinder Singh, the driver of the cargo Bolero Camper, is critical, and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

After the accident, the local people took out the injured from the bus and sent them to the hospital for first aid. Police have registered a case.
