Punjab Police bag 51 medals at All-India Police Cluster Games

The Punjab Police team delivered an impressive performance in the recently concluded All-India Police Cluster Games 2025, clinching a total of nine gold, eight silver and 34 bronze medals.

In the wrestling cluster, the team bagged four gold, two silver and 14 bronze medals. The judo cluster brought in another four gold, two silver and 14 bronze medals, while the weightlifting cluster saw the team winning one gold, four silver and six bronze medals.

The 74th All India Police Wrestling Cluster-2025 was held at Madhuban from September 20 to 24, the 10th All India Police Judo Cluster-2025 took place at Srinagar from October 8 to 16 and the 2nd All India Police Weightlifting Cluster-2025 was held in Andhra Pradesh from October 13 to 17.

All the medal winners were felicitated at a function organised by Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, AIG-cum-Sports Secretary, Punjab Police, at PAP Headquarters, Jalandhar, on Monday. MF Farooqui, Additional Director General of Police, State Armed Police, Jalandhar, was the chief guest. Inderbir Singh, DIG/Admn PAP and Rajpal Singh Sandhu, DIG, Training, PAP-2, were also present on the occasion.

Welcoming the guests, AIG Khakh informed that the sportspersons of Punjab Police had performed commendably during the games. In his address, Farooqui congratulated all the medal winners for bringing laurels to Punjab Police. He encouraged the players to continue excelling in future competitions and extended his best wishes to them.

Gurkripal Singh, Assistant Sports Secretary, Punjab Police and Davinder Yadav, DSP/Admn, Central Sports Office, were also present at the event.
