The 100th edition of the Punjab Senior Athletics Championship concluded on a high note at the Government Arts and Sports College, Jalandhar. The two-day event, which began on Thursday, witnessed enthusiastic participation from men and women athletes aged 18 and above.

More than 300 athletes competed on the second day, showcasing their talent and determination across a wide range of track and field events. Competitions included the steeplechase, triple jump, shot put, discus throw, and track races such as the 1500m, 400m, and 100m events. The atmosphere remained electric throughout, as athletes pushed their limits in pursuit of excellence.

The championship wrapped up late in the evening with several intense final rounds that drew loud applause from spectators and coaches alike. According to the organizers, athletes who secured top positions and medals during the event have been selected to represent Punjab at the national level.
