Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh on Saturday assessed the flood-affected areas in Sultanpur Lodhi. He was accompanied by constituency in-charge Sajjan Singh Cheema and Additional Deputy Commissioner Varinderpal Singh Bajwa.

He visited the flood-affected areas in Mand Indrapur and interacted with the families there. He assured them that the Punjab government stands with the flood-affected during this difficult time and that the government will leave no stone unturned to fully compensate the losses suffered by the people.

Singh further stated that while the Punjab government is compensating the people for their losses, an appeal has also been made to the central government to announce a large-scale financial package for Punjab, with maximum compensation for farmers.

Additionally, he distributed relief material to the flood-affected families.
