DC Dr Himanshu Aggarwal today inspected the ongoing four-laning work of the Lamma Pind-Jandu Singha Road to review its progress.

Dr Aggarwal directed Punjab State Power Corporation (PSPCL) to shift all electric poles by the first week of October to ensure the timely completion of the project. Additionally, he instructed the officials of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation to complete the remaining work of laying rainwater pipes within the next 15 days.

Highlighting the importance of this project, Dr Aggarwal stated that the road is crucial for a large number of commuters travelling between Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur. He urged PWD officials to accelerate the pace of work to ensure the project’s early completion.
