A delegation of residents from Ward No.31, led by ward councillor Anita Kumari, met MC Commissioner Akshita Gupta to address the ongoing water supply crisis in their locality. The residents urged the MC Commissioner to immediately take action to resolve the issue.

Councillor Anita Kumari submitted a memorandum to the MC Commissioner, highlighting the severe drinking water shortage faced by the residents. She stated that the ward currently receives water supply from an industrial area motor, which already provides a limited quantity of water. The situation has worsened due to a pipeline blockage, leading to an acute shortage. The water pressure is so low that residents cannot access water without using booster pumps.

The councillor demanded the immediate activation of the Greater Kailash motor and the reconnection of the old pipeline supplying the ward. She sought early fixing of the issue.
