Rlys announces train to Bihar for Chhath Puja

To tackle this and to provide relief to those struggling to secure seats in regular trains, the Railways has announced the operation of a special service between Amritsar and Darbhanga.
According to the officials, train number 04610 will depart from Amritsar every Monday, Friday and Saturday from September 22 to November 28, while its return service, train number 04609, will leave Darbhanga every Wednesday, Sunday and Monday from September 24 to November 30.
The train will connect several major cities, including Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Ambala, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Lucknow and Gorakhpur, before entering Bihar. On its return journey, it will cover important stations such as Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur and Chhapra, ensuring wider connectivity across the state.
