Four quarter-final matches were played on the second day of the 25th Olympian Mohinder Singh Munshi Hockey Tournament, which is being played at the Astroturf Hockey Ground of BSF Jalandhar. The teams of Round Glass, SAI Delhi, SAI Manipur and STC Kurukshetra won the matches and reached the semi-finals. On November 29 in the first semi-final, SAI Manipur will face SAI Delhi and in the second semi-final, Round Glass Academy will face STC Kurukshetra. In the first quarter-final played on Friday, SAI Manipur defeated Army Boys Bangalore by a margin of 5-1 to enter the semi-finals. Manipur’s Mithlesh Yadav scored a hat-trick by scoring three goals.

In the second quarter-final, STC Kurukshetra defeated Major Dhyan Chand Academy Safai by 2-1. Ankit scored both the goals for the winning team, while Himashu Yadav scored one goal for Safai.

In the third quarter-final, SAI Delhi defeated Surjit Hockey Academy Jalandhar by 7-6 in a penalty shoot-out to enter the semi-finals. By the end of the stipulated time, both the teams were tied 1-1.

In the fourth quarter-final, Round Glass Academy defeated Habri Club Kaithal by 3-1. Prince Singh scored two goals for the winning team and Jobanpreet Singh scored one goal.
