The body of Sandeep, a youth from village Salempur, who had left home to meet his sister and went missing in the forests of Italy, reached today and was cremated by grieving family members.

His family members said the tragic incident has brought sorrow to them. Sandeep was the only son of his parents. His uncle Satnam Singh said that after the departure of Sandeep Singh, it had become difficult for his parents to live.

They have demanded that the government find out reasons for Sandeep’s death and ensure punishment for his killers.

Another family that had reached there said their son was also missing in Italy. They appealed to the Indian embassy in Italy and the Indian government to help them locate him.
