Pushpa Gujral Science City (PGSC) organised a blood donation camp to mark its 29th foundation day. The initiative received an overwhelming response, with around 100 individuals, including staff members of Science City, coming forward to donate blood and contribute to the noble cause.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr Rajesh Grover, Director, Science City. Emphasising the importance of blood donation as a philanthropic act of immense value, Dr Grover highlighted its role in life-saving procedures such as heart and bypass surgeries. He remarked, “Blood donated during such camps can save numerous lives each year,” and appealed to all participants to make blood donation an annual practice.

Dr Munish Soin, Scientist-D, Science City, shared that donating blood is a small yet significant act of kindness that greatly contributes to the welfare of society.
