Upon receiving information, ASI Om Prakash reached the scene and initiated an investigation.

The incident has sparked outrage among local residents, who blamed the administration for negligence in maintaining the road. They alleged that the poor condition of the Talwara-Hajipur road, riddled with potholes, has become a serious safety hazard.

Comrade Shamsher Singh, state secretary of the Kandi Sangharsh Committee, and Subhash Singh, district president of the Drug-Free Kandi Struggle Committee, have urged Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to take immediate action to repair the road and prevent further loss of life.
