The primary objective of the operation was to combat illegal activities in the region. Special emphasis was laid on intercepting drug couriers who use the bus station as a transit hub for the illegal transportation of narcotics. Police teams conducted detailed searches of passengers, their belongings, and various sections of the bus station.

A special focus was laid on all buses which were thoroughly checked, including luggage compartments and passenger areas. Parking areas and other premises around the bus stand were thoroughly inspected to ensure that no illegal activities were taking place and that all regulations were being followed.
