A national seminar on ‘Empowering Women vis-à-vis Feministic Jurisprudence: Socio-legal and Linguistic Approaches’ under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) was organised by the University of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre (PUSSGRC), Hoshiarpur, under the patronage of PU Vice-Chancellor Renu Vig.

Prof Sanjay Sindhu, Dean, Department of Laws, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, was the keynote speaker while former MP Avinash Rai Khanna was the chief guest and former additional advocate general Lajwant Singh Virk was the guest of honour.
