Six teams register wins in 15th Hockey India junior men national championship

On the second day of the 15th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship, being organised by Hockey Punjab at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar, teams from Chandigarh, Kerala, Puducherry, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Uttarakhand registered victories and earned three points each.

The championship is receiving support from Round Glass. In the day’s opening match, Kerala notched back-to-back wins by defeating Telangana with a convincing 8-3 score line. In the second match, Puducherry blanked Tripura 4-0. Chhattisgarh dominated Gujarat in the third match, registering a massive 13-0 victory.

In the fourth encounter, Goa overcame Rajasthan with a 4-2 win. Chandigarh continued their strong form by defeating Jammu and Kashmir 7-2 in the fifth match. In the final match of the day, Uttarakhand beat Bihar 3-1.
