Highlighting the importance of skill development for underprivileged girls, he stressed the need to focus on vocational training programmes such as beauty parlour management, tailoring, embroidery, cooking and computer education. “These initiatives will empower girls to become self-reliant and start their own livelihood ventures,” he stated.

He further instructed that the Red Cross must ensure increased assistance for the education and healthcare needs of the underprivileged.
