The Army Public School, Beas, organised a lecture on ‘Careers in the Indian Army – A life less ordinary’ by Col Vinod Joshi, Commanding Officer, 2 Punjab, NCC Battalion, on Tuesday.
The session aimed to inspire young students to consider a career in the armed forces and familiarise them with the avenues of commission and preparation strategies for the Services Selection Board (SSB).

Col Joshi highlighted the pride, honour and sense of duty associated with serving the nation. He explained the different avenues of commission such as the National Defence Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Services (CDS), Technical Entry Schemes and Short Service Commission (SSC), giving a clear roadmap for both boys and girls aspiring to wear the uniform.
