A seminar on water conservation was held at Arya Model School here on Saturday under Jal Shakti Aabhiyan.

Kuldip Sardana, president, school managing committee, discussed various ways to save water and held discussion over emerging global water crisis and its impact on the lives of people.

Girls, in a large number, participated in the seminar, and pledged to save the water. Surinder Chopra, school manager and principal Neelam Pasricha inspired the students to save every drop of the water.

They apprised the students of various schemes of the government that need to be adopted for conservation measures by the residents for domestic purpose and by farmers for irrigation.
