It is noteworthy that Dr Himanshu Aggarwal also serves as the President of the Surjit Hockey Society. During a recent meeting of the Society held to discuss preparations for the 42nd Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament, Dr Aggarwal had announced the decision to contribute to flood relief, considering the challenging situation caused by heavy floods across various parts of Punjab.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Aggarwal said the Punjab Government is working continuously to restore normalcy in the lives of those affected by the floods. He appreciated the efforts of social organisations and generous individuals who have come forward to support the cause.

He also emphasised that helping those in distress is a moral duty of every citizen and appealed to other social organisations and philanthropists to extend their support towards ongoing relief efforts.
