Written by Pali Bupinder Singh and directed by Abhishek Tiwari from Lucknow, the 90-minute production delved into the complex human emotions of love, conflict and ideology.
The main cast, including Sawan Rupowali, Utkarsh Singh and other talented artistes, delivered impactful performances that left a lasting impression on the viewers.
The play narrated the journey of a sensitive woman, Aneet, whose life revolved around poetry, music and love. Her peaceful world, built on devotion toward her husband—a police officer—took a dark turn when a terrorist entered her home to settle an old score by killing him. What began as a tale of affection gradually evolved into a narrative of emotional turmoil, courage and transformation, portraying Aneet’s journey from deep love to resistance and awakening.
The event underscored the significance of theatre, art and culture in the holistic development of students. At CT Group, such initiatives went beyond entertainment, serving as thought-provoking experiences that encouraged reflection, creativity and empathy. Through theatre, students were inspired to explore artistic expression while nurturing critical thinking and emotional intelligence — essential elements of their all-round growth.
The occasion was graced by Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur, Vice-Chairman Harpreet Singh, Director DSW Davinder Singh and Dean DSW Dr Arjan Singh, who appreciated the efforts of the artistes and organisers for promoting meaningful theatre on campus.
District Language Officer Jaspreet Kaur also lauded the initiative for its role in preserving and promoting linguistic and cultural values. The stage proceedings were conducted by Gurwinder Singh. Terrorist ki Premika reaffirmed the transformative power of theatre — not merely as a performing art, but as an educational medium that inspired introspection, dialogue and social awareness among students.
