Thind Eye Hospital, a reputed name in eye care, conducted a free eye check-up camp for employees and families of the Income Tax Department as part of its community outreach initiative.

Held on August 6, the camp focused on preventive eye care and early detection of conditions like refractive errors, cataracts and glaucoma. Over 70 individuals were examined by a team of ophthalmologists and optometrists.

Dr Jaswant Singh Thind, Medical Director of the hospital, emphasised the importance of regular eye check-ups, especially for screen-intensive professions. Senior officials including Jaspreet Singh Minhas, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, expressed appreciation for the hospital’s support and dedication to public health.
