The Jalandhar Police Commissionerate has arrested three persons and recovered illegal weapons, including a countrymade pistol, a magazine, four rounds of ammunition and a knife.

Commissioner Swapan Sharma provided details about the arrests, stating that the police had solved a case. The FIR was lodged following a violent altercation in the area.

The arrested persons have been identified as Mahesh, alias Mohit, Diviam Babbar, alias Ganja, and Ridham, alias Kuku, all from Sodal of Jalandhar. The police recovered countrymade pistol along with a magazine and four rounds of 7.65 mm ammunition. A knife was also seized.

Commissioner Sharma said a case was pending against Diviam Babbar.
